1
Germaine De Capuccini Multi-Regenerating Rose Hip Oil, 40ml, £40.75

WHY WE LOVE IT

The amazing scent of this oil is nurturing for both the skin and mind.  It feels decadent and comforting as it sinks so easily into the skin and gives your face a beautiful glow.  The plant extract helps to nourish, regenerate and firm the skin and we love that it’s cruelty free and vegan.

“I love using this oil.  The texture is amazing and it sinks in beautifully but it really stands apart from other rose oils because of it’s smokey rose scent.  It feels really decadent and nourishing.”

2
The Ordinary Rose Hip Seed oil, 30ml, £9

WHY WE LOVE IT

Extremely hydrating and nourishing, this oil has a light “grassy” scent indicative of it’s high omega fatty acid content.  Skin feels hydrated and nourished even after one application.  Despite it’s thick texture, it doesn’t feel greasy at all!

“My dehydrated, dry skin is like an over sensitive teen and has moments of extreme freak out.  Layering this thick yellow oil over a serum and under my moisturiser at night helps to calm its most dramatic moments without causing me to break out.”

Rachel

“This feels like such a luxurious product on the skin, yet it’s so inexpensive! I love that it’s vegan and cruelty-free, as well as free of parabens, suphates and mineral oil, and it applies so nicely. I use a face oil for my moisturiser, as the spot cream and face wash I use are for acne-prone skin and are very drying — which isn’t great for me, as I also have eczema! Even if it’s not this specific oil, I would really recommend adding The Ordinary into your skincare routine, as I’ve enjoyed most products I’ve tried from the brand.”

3
Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant, 30ml, £31.50

WHY WE LOVE IT

A 100% certified product that contains a blend of essential oil and red berry to replenish and renew the skin to its former glory.  Antioxidants work to protect your skin from external factors affecting your skin.

“Sometimes rosehip oil alone is actually a little drying for my skin  – it’s fantastic for pigmentation and scarring but dryness is the downside. This antioxidant version definitely gives more hydration. It’s one of the only rosehip oils that feels like it’s completely enough on my skin. It’s not too thick and works easily into my skin. It makes my skin feels really happy.”

“A really good quality, budget rosehip oil that’s organic and very effective. A great product with really reliable quality. Great if you don’t want to spend a huge amount but you want the benefits of rosehip. Completely natural skincare that is affordable – this brand is such a great addition to the natural skin care offering.”
