With reactive and sleep deprived skin l have tried a very broad range of brands and products to find the most effective and simultaneously gentle.

My fascination with skincare began as a teenager when my granny allowed me to try her pot of Lancôme face cream. She looked beautiful and had used it always. I then was introduced to Clarins by a sophisticated friend on a trip to Paris and to this day I feel a thrill whenever I have a new batch of samples to experiment with.

A difficult few years intensified my love of trying and researching beauty products, and I used this as a way of feeling good when things were bad. Smells and textures were also extremely evocative of moments and times that were important and almost served as memories.

My idea of heaven is a couple of uninterrupted hours browsing the aisles of City Pharmacy in Paris, Sephora in the U.S and the giant Priceline in Melbourne city centre, to name a few.

Discovering new and previously unknown to me brands is always thrilling. Obviously with a large amount of space on my credit card!
